Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2020 Update: Contrary to a previous declaration by the government’s PIB Fact Check, Employment News, the platform where the job advertisement was initially published, asserts the authenticity of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) recruitment notification.
Employment News, in a recent tweet, clarified, “We bring attention to the action taken by the PIB Fact Check Unit on December 16, wherein the Intelligence Bureau (MHA, Government of India) advertisement on pages 6 and 7 of Employment News, set to be released on December 19, was labeled as fake. The Intelligence Bureau has officially confirmed the legitimacy of the advertisement in writing.”
The advertised positions are for 2000 vacant roles of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) within the IB. Prospective candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university. Those successfully selected will receive a salary based on the 7th Pay Commission, ranging from Rs 15,600 to 39,100, along with additional allowances depending on the position.
The recruitment notification is set to be available online on December 19, as per the information provided by Employment News.
